About the Role
One of our partners is building a next-generation DeFi infrastructure layer designed to automatically route capital to the best risk-adjusted yield opportunities across on-chain ecosystems.
As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting and building core Solana programs from the ground up. You’ll work on complex, high-impact systems that sit at the heart of on-chain capital allocation, with a strong focus on performance, security, and long-term scalability.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy deep problem-solving, thrive in fast-moving environments with limited constraints, and take pride in owning systems end to end.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement production-grade Rust smart contracts on Solana
- Design and build core on-chain programs from zero to mainnet
- Make critical decisions around smart contract architecture, security, and performance
- Work closely with product and protocol teams to translate requirements into robust on-chain solutions
- Continuously improve code quality, testing, and deployment processes
- Take ownership of complex technical problems and drive them to resolution
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience building and shipping Rust-based smart contracts
- Proven experience working with Solana programs in production environments
- Deep understanding of smart contract design patterns, security considerations, and best practices
- Comfort operating in high-ambiguity, early-stage environments
- A strong sense of ownership — you take responsibility for systems beyond initial delivery
- Ability to reason through complex problems independently and execute with minimal oversight
