Role Overview
We’re partnering with a team building a multi-chain DeFi yield platform that abstracts complexity and intelligently routes capital across on-chain protocols. This is a high-ownership backend role, ideal for engineers who enjoy architecting complex Web3 systems from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and build production-grade Web3 backend systems
- Design and implement multi-chain protocol integrations
- Own complex transaction flows, including RPC interactions and on-chain state management
- Work closely with smart contracts and on-chain infrastructure
- Help define and implement new on-chain yield strategies
- Build secure, reliable, and scalable backend infrastructure
Core Skills & Experience
- 3+ years building and shipping production Web3 backend systems
- Strong experience integrating with smart contracts and DeFi protocols
- Deep understanding of EVM fundamentals, smart contract best practices, and DeFi patterns
- Hands-on experience with tools like ethers, viem, wagmi, Tenderly
- Comfortable working autonomously in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments
- Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward execution and problem-solving
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying smart contracts to mainnet
- Exposure to multi-chain / EVM-compatible ecosystems
